Online casino games, poker and sports betting websites to play in Canada
PokerStars joins forces with Toronto Maple Leafs, which has advanced to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time since 2004, and PokerStars.
Amidst all the gameday action, an activation in the middle of Maple Leaf Square offered PokerStars players and Maple Leafs fans a chance to get closer to the action.
"PokerStars has given its players and Maple Leafs fans more reasons to get excited during the Leafs playoff run, with tickets, jerseys and other prizes given away at our activation tent in Maple Leaf Square,” said Rebecca McAdam Willetts, PokerStars Director of Partnerships & PR. “And while we're sad that the playoff journey may have ended for this year, we're excited about what our partnership can continue to offer both fans and players, and we're looking forward to being part of another incredible season.”
Fans were given opportunities to win prizes and exclusive merchandise through All-In Shootouts in Maple Leaf Square and to line up at the PokerStars activation tent, with four players playing one hand of poker where players were automatically “all-in”. The winner of the hands was entered into a ticket draw for the next playoff home game, and also gets to spin the prize wheel for a chance at the daily jackpot. “The All-In Shootouts were equal parts excitement and tension,” said McAdam. “They were the perfect combination for mixing poker with playoff hockey!” These All-In Shootouts also took place after every Leafs playoff game on the PokerStars Ontario site, offering cash and playoff tickets as prizes. PokerStars was also active in the official viewing party and tailgate area in Maple Leaf Square, where 1,800 fans watched every playoff game on the billboard screen attached to Scotiabank Arena.
